Your 'day to day' As a Senior Engineer - Supplier Quality Business Intelligence Analysis, you will engage internally to support the definition of the monitoring strategy pertaining to manufacturing or product performances, with the Product Quality Intelligence (PQI) pillars to expose the required data and develop the Business Intelligence (BI) tools, including dashboards, needed to operationalize the strategy. You will also perform recurring analysis of PMI ecosystems' quality performance and conduct analysis of quality evolution and deviations, as well as ensure depth of analysis and actionability of generated insights. Depending on the assignment, you will generate actionable report to management, and/or lead a recurring discussion on trend analysis and continuous improvement actions. In addition depending on specific assignment, scope includes the monitoring of quality performance in-market, in-device, in design & manufacturing (device and/or consumable), at suppliers or a combination thereof. More specifically, you'll • Support the functions in the definition and operationalization of their monitoring strategy pertaining to manufacturing and product performances. • Lead the monitoring of quality performance pertaining to the assigned scope. • Conduct the analysis of quality evolution and characterization of deviations relying on all sources of relevant data. • Conduct specific quality performance investigations. • Collaborate within and beyond the team to corroborate quality deviation characterization. • Interpret, summarize & promote findings for action ability. • Maintain the knowledge of each data layers used to ensure the integrity of the monitoring, analysis and investigation outcome. Who we're looking for • University/Engineering degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or knowledge to fulfill the technical activities. • Minimum 5 years of experience in tobacco or consumer goods industry, in Business Intelligence or Data Science involving complex analysis & business recommendations. Exposure to the Electronics industry with general understanding of Electronics Engineering a strong plus. • Excellent data analysis skills with a problem solving mindset, and a demonstrated ability to understand complex dataset, deal with lack of perfect data/information. • Great attention to details and natural willingness to go beyond the obvious, while keeping the big picture. • Ability to communicate and describe complex technical information in understandable terms, also to non-technical people. • Ability to lead and supervise initiatives, influence, and translate complex analysis into credible and actionable conclusions. • Experienced with Data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, similar). General Statistical Knowledge. Programming skills (SQL Querying). Knowledge of Database & Data Management principles. Project Management skills. • Collaborative team member. • Quick learner with an autonomous mindset.
