The mission of the Trade Marketing team is to develop a B2B strategy with our retailers in mind. It needs to consider their business, needs and gaps and find solutions that help them in their daily life. The goal is to create share of love and share of market. To achieve this, we are sourcing a Trade Marketing Manager Belgium/Luxembourg who will report to the Manager Trade Marketing. You’ll be accountable for enabling the indirect channels to deliver the best in class commercial performance and retail NPS. This role is critical in bringing deep channel understanding in the development of the trade marketing agenda and will require a very close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, such as the Consumer Experience, Marketing, Country teams and Commercial Planning. Key accountabilities 1. To develop an integrated strategic trade education, communication and engagement program to increase awareness, motivation, distribution and the sales of our products. The content will be jointly developed with the various stakeholders in the organization. 2. To increase our knowledge of the trade universe and create specific content for each community of retailers with focus on the retail needs & gaps (input retail toolbox). 3. To create retail knowledge on our smoke free products and to increase support for the smoke free vision (trade education program). 4. To build a clear, singular tone of voice framework for our retailer communications (with better copywriting and trade media plan). 5. To create motivation to sell our brands through effective trade loyalty and commercial programs, special treatment (trade guests & trade events) and with a clear trade remuneration scheme. 6. To increase the multi-category (focus both on Smoke Free and Combustible products) approach in communications towards the retailers and in the engagement programs. Key challenges in the role • You will participate in key customer experience and commercial projects. • You will actively collaborate and build bridges with various and diverse key stakeholders in pursuit of an improved customer experience. What we are looking for: Required experience: • Proven front office experience. • Deep knowledge of the Belgian market • Project Management • Third Party Partner (agency) Management experience is a plus. Talent Acquisition (TA) will perform an initial screening to assess whether candidates match with the defined vacancy requirements. If this is the case, the candidate will be invited for 2 competency-based (virtual) interviews. In parallel, you will be asked to complete 2 online assessment tests*. At the end of the process, each candidate will receive the assessment results, as well as actionable feedback for their further development. Assessment Tests The tests are integrated in the selection process to increase objectivity of the final decision making. The assessment tests are composed out of a cognitive ability test. The results will not be saved in the employee’s file and will only be used in the context of the vacancy for which the employee is applying. Results are therefore not used for purposes of performance evaluation. Candidates who took the tests in the past 12 months should not make tests again. ?
