Meet Hannah - Director Financial Analyses & Support
“Basically, I’m directly responsible for the overall process of preparing and verifying PMI’s financials that are communicated to all external parties,” Hannah explains. If that sounds like a huge responsibility, it is. Working from our Operations Center in Lausanne, she likens her team to the nerve center of PMI’s Financial Analysis and Support function. “My work covers all the markets and functions in all the countries that we operate…over 160 around the world.”

Almost anyone can pull a number out of a financial report. The difficulty is in making them mean something. Hannah brings the numbers to life, so everyone, from our employees to our shareholders, gets a clear picture of PMI’s financial performance. She actively engages with people in different departments and locations so she can accurately communicate the story behind the numbers.
She speaks with enthusiasm about the opportunities working with PMI has given her. “In many ways, my work is a dream come true. Growing up in Korea, it’s a small country where there’s a common desire to travel the world. Now, I’m not only traveling, but living in different countries and doing my job at the same time.” She says PMI invests in people. Hannah Yun studied Finance and Business in Korea and Australia before joining PMI in 1997. She spends her free time learning to play new sports with her 10-year-old son. Meet other people from Finance.
