Bertrand Bonvin
Senior Vice President Research & Development
Mr. Bonvin was appointed Senior Vice President, Research & Development in December 2011.
Mr. Bonvin joined Philip Morris International in 1993 as a Senior Project Engineer in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. From 1996 to 2008, he held numerous management positions in Operations in affiliates in Eastern Europe and in Turkey. In May 2008, he was appointed Vice President Operations, Asia Region. In April 2011, he became Vice President Operations Technical Services with worldwide responsibility for engineering, quality and compliance of our products.
Mr. Bonvin holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland.
