Drago Azinovic
President of European Union Region
Mr. Azinovic was appointed President of Philip Morris International’s European Union Region in August 2012.
Mr. Azinovic was appointed President of Philip Morris International’s European Union Region on August 1, 2012, with responsibility for managing our business in the EU.
Mr. Azinovic joined Philip Morris Asia Limited in March 2009 as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Philip Morris International’s Asia Region. He was appointed President of Philip Morris Japan in July 2011, a position he held until July 31, 2012.
From 1997 until 2009, Mr. Azinovic held a variety of positions at Altadis, and subsequently, after the acquisition of Altadis in 2008, Imperial Tobacco. Prior to this, Mr. Azinovic worked at Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Azinovic received a law degree from the University of Alcalá in Spain and an MBA from St Louis University in Missouri.
