YOU are a motivated individual with an excellent financial background and knowledge, as well as sharp business acumen. YOU can work under pressure of time, constant high workload, while cooperating with various counterparties (internal and external). YOU are constantly looking for better, more efficient ways to manage processes and company assets. You possess excellent analytical and communication skills.

You have 3 years of experience working in a similar role. YOU are legally eligible to work in Canada and have a professional degree in Accounting/Finance or Business and have completed one or more of the following professional designations CCP/CGA/CMA/CA. YOU have sound knowledge of mercantile credit practices and policies and the ability to interpret financial statements and third party credit assessments. Furthermore, you are a very detailed oriented individual with capacity to adapt and move quickly. Knowledge of French and exposure to SAP is a plus.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a Contract role for 1 year.

The Finance department provides world-class expertise in managing the company’s financials to maximize long-term earnings, cash flow and shareholder return. YOU will evaluate customer creditworthiness as per Credit Sales to Third Party Customers Standard to ensure the complete and timely collection of sales to safeguard company receivables, minimize exposure to loss,  ensure due diligence in line with Know Your Customer Principles & Practices and ensure full compliance with affiliate standards and the Canadian Government Protocol.
