Lead Enterprise Architect – Supply Chain

The Role We have an opportunity for a Lead Enterprise Architect – Supply Chain to join the IS Enterprise Architecture team. You will be leading and defining supply chain business capability and architecture evolutions for large business driven programs and business transformation initiatives This is an opportunity to solve difficult business problems using the latest and greatest technology, innovating the future of Supply Chain at PMI. You will be leading and facilitating meetings and discussions to elicit business, product to define and roadmap architectural solutions. The team looks at business capability, orchestration of underlying technology platforms (for example big data platforms, multicloud platforms, etc.), enabling the execution the wider PMI transformation. Apart from the excitement of designing the future, as an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for creating the strategies, the roadmaps, and the technology’s trends & evolutions. You will ensure that appropriate value propositions and guidance are established for new & emerging technology and related decision choices. Leveraging your deep experience of large ERP Supply Chain implementation Operations, you will be a key enabler for other consultants and partner staff and will oversee delivery of our largest, most complex, and most strategic projects. We heavily invested in a future where Artificial Intelligence (AL) and Machine Learning (ML) combined with agile ways of working and DevOps principles will enable a rapid pace delivery and execution. You will apply your advanced analysis skills and principals of business process, Artificial Intelligence and Analytics to define and design best in class logistic and supply chain solutions. If you are looking for space to innovate & experiment and apply the newest tech solutions on an enterprise level, join us in our Business Transformation journey Responsibilities: Lead business requirements discussions with customer to implement best in class solutions for the Supply Chain and logistics transformation needs. Design and implement complex supply chain solutions as per Industry best practices Guiding, supporting and executing the formulation of fit-for purpose architecture strategies & roadmaps for innovative ideas, in consultation with cross-functional program & project teams, to ensure that proposed solutions architecture are aligned with the overall Enterprise Architecture strategy & framework. Providing business and technology or process knowledge/experience to advice on appropriate technology options suited for the business capability to be delivered. Provide strong technical understanding of the product with the ability to discuss and demonstrate the full platform and how it may be configured to meet a customer’s business needs Interacting with mid to senior level supply chain executives displaying knowledge, experience, and leading practice advice to identified issues Participating in Go-to-Market activities in addition to the delivery of the identified solution. Leading teams and building skills of others in the Supply Chain business processes Be able to deeply understand business requirements and technical needs - design AI and ML solutions that meet that demand and apply AI and ML in the context of Supply Chain and Logistics. Design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art, data-driven predictive and prescriptive models to solve business problems using the latest and most appropriate technologies in statistical modeling, machine learning and optimization Lead teams of talented engineers to build a best-in-class Supply Chain Be given the freedom to try new things and prove the value of your own ideas and innovations. Effectively manage the balance between your end-users and your business stakeholders Drive continuous process improvement and innovation Skills & experience: Extensive proven experience with design and implementation of Supply Chain solutions Should have experience on at least four projects as Enterprise or Solution Architect and have worked on global implementation Experience in Enterprise Architecture domains across Cognitive / Artificial Intelligence Very strong understanding and experience in the field of AI, Machine Learning, deep Learning and related technologies Proven experience with other on-premise and cloud solution e.g. E2Open Prior experience working as a management consultant or industry (ideally global FMCG, CPG, Retail or Manufacturing) will be seen positively Strategic planning and business value creation experience. Experience working in an ideation, experimentation approach to innovation. Understanding of key processes in technology delivery. Previous exposure to an international environment. Fluency in written and spoken English. Should be able to engage in conversation on wide ranging supply chain topics with Supply chain, Manufacturing and procurement users including senior leaders like VP Supply Chain /VP Procurement. You should be a self-starter and be able to drive end to end process and solution leadership.
