Sr. IS Operations Specialist

To help us in this mission, we are looking for a talented individual who is customer focused and has excellent problem-solving skills to join our team as a Sr. IS Operations Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for you to shape our IS services that support critical commercial business processes. You will be key in ensuring continuous operational excellence, high-level customer satisfaction, and ultimately help us achieve our mission. THE OPPORTUNITY In your role, you will be responsible to maintain high-level service standards for commercial applications, problem-solve technical issues, and provide general support to internal and external customers. You will work collaboratively with a cross functional agile team and service providers to ensure service levels are met and the platform is operating 24/7. You will encourage the incorporation of proven practices, agile and lean ways of working. SKILLS REQUIRED • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science and Software Engineering or similar discipline) • 5-7 years of experience in IS related positions (DevOps) • 2 years experience in web programming technologies (C# .NET Framework / .NET Core, AngularJS) • Strong database background (Microsoft SQL Server DBA, Oracle or Postgresql) • Experience as a system administrator of MS Windows and/or Linux servers • Experience in cloud infrastructure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Experience with scripting languages (VBScript, Javascript, Powershell) • Infrastructure knowledge, and have an appetite to learn and apply new IS service practices. • Previous work within an agile development environment is an asset • Control or security related experience is a strong asset • Previous expertise in supporting commercial applications is an asset • Previous exposure to Service-Now and JIRA is an asset WHO WE ARE?
