Manager Indirect Retail Engagement

The Opportunity Manage the development and the implementation of short and long term trade engagement and development plans, in order to support the Field Force in achieving the Company business targets in Volume and Share of Market as well as impacting exclusively adult consumers. This will be achieved through the development of initiatives such as education programs, trade relations activities and trade marketing contracts, further encouraging retailers' involvement (both tobacco shop and others potential indirect channels) with PM vision for a smoke free future and market initiatives. Design, together with the Manager Indirect Retail and the Head of Deployment, a coherent adult consumer promotion strategy for the channel guaranteeing a seamless experience across the channels to our consumers. Specific responsibilities include: TRADE COMMUNICATION (B2B): Coordinate with the Consumer Journey team, other channels team and Deployment team in order to communicate the company vision and strategy timely and effectively to all retailers and their staff (tobacconists and others). This must be achieved through a B2B Omni channel communication approach across all existent (Retailer website, retailer inbound Call center, DEM-sms, Point of Sales Materials) and new (social media, forum) tools. TRADE PROGRAMS AND INCENTIVES (B2B): Develop concepts for Trade programs (both short and long term), which address the trade and Company needs and help to ensure the achievement of the Company goals (Volume & Share of Market). Put special focus on identifying web media opportunities to engage retailers, developing, implementing and maintaining the existent programs and design new ones. Track, monitor and obtain all the necessary internal approvals.. TRADE ENGAGEMENT (B2B2C): Design a retailer engagement strategy that goes beyond the pure incentive scheme and make them ambassador of our vision to their customers, working closely with deployment team in order to make it happen. In order to do so, the use of our web platform is crucial. CONTENT STRATEGY (B2B2C): Develop together with the Consumer journey team all relevant contents for retailers that will help them to communicate correctly and proactively to final adult Consumers and increase the knowledge of our products. SELLING AND LENDING TOOL ENHANCEMENT: Together with the IS department enhance all the tools related to device registration and device lending at POS in order to guarantee a seamless experience to adult consumer and reduce the retailer Field Force workload. AUDITING AND REMOTE COMPLIANCE SYSTEMS: In order to guarantee the respect of the rules of engagement of the incentive programs, design systems capable to check the compliance with and without the support of the Field Force, by exploring all available tools (Call center, Website). BUDGET AND PLANNING: Support the Manager Indirect Retail Development for the budget planning process, collecting the inputs, working closely purchasing departments on gathering reliable cost estimates for all projects. Ensure correct tracking of actual spending vs budget throughout the year, while taking the initiative for corrective adjustments. Requirements • University Degree in Economics or Business Administration with solid experience in the commercial area of FMCG Companies. • Specific Experience: 3 - 5 years ideally in Field Sales Force (as District supervisor), marketing and business development experience preferred. • Strong digital skills and web user experience understanding. • Concise communication & building relationships with all relevant key stakeholders • Strong communication and analytical skills. • Entrepreneurship, positive attitude, attention to details. • Fluent in Italian and English. • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point. • A valid working permit for EU is requested.
