POSITION TITLE: Manager MRCI RRP
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Contribute to the generation and dissemination of strategic consumer, market and brand knowledge, mainly for RRP. Translate them to insights in order to support development and implementation of business strategies and tactics for the market.
Work on the design, execution, and analysis of market, consumer and brand research studies in Japan RRP category. Engage Japan Commercial teams and regional Market Research, and deliver actionable insights with identified business implications.
Contribute to the knowledge and perspective creation of trend in the market and consumers, and interpret them into business context. Explore the best way to capture and understand the trend and its meanings, and disseminate such insights to stakeholders to influence marketing, sales and business planning.
Work cross-functionally as a part of project team. Contribute to the projects as a consumer insights provider, as well as a strong executioner of the projects, and effectively influence business.
Lead and develop direct reports (3-4 analysts) and form a strong team with positive leadership culture
Minimum University Graduate
5+ years of experience in Consumer Market Research field, either at research agency or research function preferably at FMCG or corresponding companies. Fully experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research from designing to reporting and presentations. Preferable to have experience in managing direct reports.
Excellent mastery of research methodology in both quantitative and qualitative research. Strong logical thinking and problem solving skills are required. Agility and collaboration skills are critical.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Analytical skills including basic statistical skills
Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and some understanding of data processing and analysis techniques.
