Financial Planning&Mgt Reporting Analyst

FPMR Analyst Philip Morris Korea Inc. is currently seeking talented, business-savvy professionals to join its FPMR team, based in Seoul, Korea. As part of the FPMR team, you will take a lead on forecasting company’s performance timely by reflecting business environment/strategy changes and market trends, analyzing financial information and business assumptions to help management team to make business decision, suggesting most effective financial resource allocation and/or setting up appropriate business processes in collaboration with commercial teams or other department/functions or regional/global headquarter while mitigating any control risks. OPPORTUNITIES General • Provides accurate and appropriate financial analysis to management team / supervisors/managers for their strategic decision making • Conducts research, evaluates results, and prepares detailed analyses, reports, presentations, and general and technical correspondence • Develops finance reports to track performance and ad-hoc analysis to support management decision making • Proposes any improvable areas to be most beneficial to company business results • Ad hoc analysis / reports and projects as required • P&L analysis / system update / reporting Financial Planning and Management Reporting & Financial Planning and Analysis • Analyze financial performance by highlighting trends and anomalies • Prepare the responsible areas (program impact analysis, channel mix impact, pricing impact) during budget cycle and/or as on a required basis. • Analyze discount programs and track the actual result and liaise with FSC (shared service center) and Financial Reporting team for monthly closing / actual result analysis • Build a good work partnership with other budget functions and commercial groups to analyze the business assumptions • Provide insights and recommendations for operating income improvements • Forecast future revenues and expenditures, as well as perform modeling and scenario analysis • Perform ROI analysis and propose most effective financial resource allocation • Update budget system as required • Pricing structure analysis and scenario analysis as required REQUIREMENTS • 7 to 11 years of experience in Finance, with strong understanding on Financial Reporting and Processes: - -Analysis for management decision support / resource allocation - -Financial and management accounting knowledge - -Learning capacity on business operating model and its correlation to financials - -Understanding on the substance of financial process - -Curiosity • CPA (KI or AI) holder is preferred • Strong financial analytical skills (Scenario analysis) • Strategic Thinking / Goal Setting • Communication • Agility, versatile • Capable of being trustful finance advisor - Commercial savvy - Learning agility under business dynamics - Comfortable with uncertainty and changes APPLICATION GUIDELINES • Click ‘Apply Now’ button and ‘Upload a File’ for new applicants • Upload your English Resume either in Word or PDF format (merge your files into one file named as your English name, i.e., CV_Gildong Hong) • Fill in basic information such as employment and education • Create password and submit application BENEFITS & TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT • Contract Type : Permanent • Pension and Insurance : Retirement pension, National pension, Medical Insurance, Unemployment insurance, Occupational health and safety insurance • Medical check-up : Support the a comprehensive medical testing for employee and only one of employee’s family member • Benefits : Group life and accident insurance, Flexible Benefit, Flexible working hour • Work location : Philip Morris Korea, 10, Gukjegeumyung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Korea
