Asset Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking and motivated Asset Engineer join our amazing office overlooking the lake in Neuchatel, Switzerland. The objective of Philip Morris Products SA Technical Support Team is managing the performance of our manufacturing equipment, for both conventional and what we call Reduced Risk Products, or RRPs. Responsibilities: Develop and implement maintenance strategies, using problem solving and other suitable technics such as: Criticality Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) Support local and regional maintenance team by ensuring the effectiveness of planned maintenance activities for both technical and cost aspects. This includes monitoring and controlling of all maintenance specific KPI’s. Ensure budgets and annual operating plans on appropriate assets are formulated, based on the regional and local maintenance strategy and targets. Participate in regional and cross-departmental projects related to the improvement and implementation of new equipment or technologies. About you: Engineering University degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or Process) Substantial experience in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or Process), in an industrial environment Knowledge of World-Class Maintenance standards Strong analytical skills Proficient in SAP or in other (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) CMMS, as well as with MS Office (Excel – XLCubed – Word, PowerPoint) Ability to communicate at all level within the organization Fluent in French and English About Philip Morris International: Philip Morris International (PMI) is leading a transformation in the tobacco industry to create a smoke-free future and ultimately replace cigarettes with smoke-free products to the benefit of adults who would otherwise continue to smoke, society, the company and its shareholders.
