Head of Supply Chain

This is a strategic role within the operations team in Colombia with scope of Andean Cluster. Your main responsibilities will be: • Deliver optimal supply chain, experience for the internal customers, external customers and consumers by integrating: o Deep commercial understanding of Andean market, the commercial strategy and execution plans o In depth understanding of regulatory and fiscal environment and its impact on the supply/operations. o Excellent understanding of supply chain functional elements like S&OP Process and Governance, net Demand Forecast and Service, Cost a& Capital management. • Act as one stop shop for all Distribution related topics and design, build and maintain or evolve the local 360 Distribution strategy to improve the end to end supply chain. Be responsible for designing and delivering all flows (forward and reverse) for all product categories as well as all geographies under his responsibility. • Ensure distribution delivery is executed optimally and with higher quality, in a timely manner by driving demand sensing base line forecast, ensuring availability of goods in the right quantity and on time to maximize service and reduce inventories, participating with commercial/customer care/etc… teams in the new commercial projects and anticipating in advance all future business needs, mastering the use of existing and future tools and technologies, manage local SC risks with proper crisis management procedures as well as existing Business Continuity Plans • Ensure flawless execution of all SC processes through rigor and structure in all aspects of execution, combined with agile methodology to formulate and test assumptions that will either solve the identified pain points for the commercial or consumer, or drive continuous improvements in the area (especially in drive for simplification and optimization). Own the operations customer experience for all customers of the supply chain products and services in the market. • Identify and resolve all operation problems, though, exceptional sense of end-to-end problem ownership, building and using a strong network within the operations community, and within the customer community and a strong drive for timely and collaborative problem resolution. • Work effectively at the management team level, as a driving force, in a collaborative yet assertive way, to drive, world-class S&OP process and with the Management Teams both in market and in operations organization to ensure that the optimal balance is accomplished between reaching commercial KPIs and Operations KPIs. Education, experience and desired functional knowledge and skills • 10 years career development in domestic and multinational companies of retail, luxury, consumer electronics or marketplace. Experience abroad is a plus • Extensive experience with handling complex Distribution Center or Manufacturing operations and leading process improvement projects • Experience leading high-volume, fast paced operations with direct ownership of end user consumer experience. • Experience leading high-volume, fast paced operations with direct ownership of end user consumer experience. • Experience in Lean / World-class Manufacturing principles and tools. • Highly developed communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization both internal and customers’ and to diverse audiences • Ability to bridge strategic, tactical and operational business concepts by applying an end-to-end Global mindset.
