Project Management Organisation Intern - London

About the Role As the Project Management Organisation (PMO) Intern, you will provide the project delivery teams and the programme management teams with governance and reporting cadence support. Responsibilities Project Based Resourcing You will support the project based resourcing (PBR) process by working with stakeholders to understand their needs, ensuring colleague skill profiles are available and updated and facilitating the timely provision of resource As the PMO Intern, you will own and be responsible for the maintenance and update of the Project Based Resourcing tool You’ll provide insight current status of project resourcing, business requests and current gaps – present trends over time; and ensure and organise perpetual updates following project closure of capability assessments. You’ll also champion the PBR tool and process to the business and stakeholders, confidently describing the purpose, benefits and usability. Governance & Reporting As the PMO Intern, you will deliver the portfolio dashboard according to the required cycle, consolidating inputs from a variety of project and programme sources. You’ll become familiar with PMI’s PBO 2.0 and undertake tasks required by the OC to ensure compliance to global standards, stage gates and mandated activities. You’ll maintain a link with Finance to understand and collate (on behalf of PMO) the programme and portfolio view of costs (and benefits) relating to our key transformation projects – enabling the PMO to better understand the cost-benefit for each programme. Support & Facilitation In this function you will manage the key inputs, including agendas, logistics and materials for Transformation key meetings and co-ordinate the outputs and actions. You’ll communicate the purpose and role of the PMO to colleagues across PML to ensure they understand the support available and interactions required. And you’ll support the continuous improvement and evolution of the PMO. Budget Activities Raising, tracking and invoicing for purchase orders and 3rd party spend.
