Senior Scientist Biostatistics

We are currently looking for a Senior Scientist Biostatistics with the following requirements: MSc, PhD in biostatistics, biometrics or statistical field Substantial experience in study design, conduct and analysis of clinical studies in pharmaceutical, consumer goods or clinical research organization Proven experience with SAS and sound knowledge of GCP and CDISC standards Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and leadership skills with an ability to work both independently and in a team environment Previous experience with Phoenix WinNonlin®, NONMEM, or R, in PK Modelling and population PK Modelling, as well as interacting with health authorities is an asset Fluent in English, both written and spoken. If you possess the above mentioned profile you are the one we want for our Biostatistics Team, in Philip Morris Products S.A., in Neuchatel, Switzerland. As a Senior Scientist Biostatistics you will apply statistical practices, procedures and theory to design, conduct and report pre- and post-market clinical studies conducted to assess risk profile of alternative products to cigarettes. You will work closely with other functions to answer important questions and apply industry standards to tobacco products by translating strategic needs to innovative statistical solutions. Specific responsibilities: Serve as a technical leader in biostatistical science Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of statistical methodology and regulations Be accountable for the biostatistical aspects and the quality of the deliverables in all study-related documents and in the communication with authorities Interact with the study team and mentor them on statistical issues in order to best support the objectives of product development programs as a whole and individual assessment studies Ensure that regulatory guidance (e.g. GCP, ICH) and internal SOP/WKIs are followed Manage Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) Provide statistical expertise to the R&D program pre- and post- marketing clinical studies.
