Talent Acquisition Executive

In line with our vision to achieve “smoke-free” future by converting combustible cigarette smokers to “heat-not-burn” product, namely IQOS, likewise we continuously inject bright, innovative and agile talent into Philip Morris Japan (PMJ). But we are not a typical Talent Acquisition team as recruitment is only a fraction of the value we bring to the business. We are also lead the way in Employer Branding to change the perception of PMJ/industry, run a number of recruitment-related events, onboarding programs for new hires, conduct interview training sessions for our internal stakeholders, involved in Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, revamp our Employee Referral Program, just to name a few. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Managing the end-to-end recruitment process • Conducting briefing sessions on sourcing with Line Managers/Business Partners • Educating/updating business/Line Managers/Business Partners on status and make new proposals on sourcing strategies • Develop/utilize direct sourcing channels (ie. referrals, LinkedIn, etc) • Build effective partnership with selected recruitment agencies • Screen CVs and conduct interviews as initial assessment • Setting up interviews with hiring managers • Providing feedback to hiring managers and also gathering feedback from interviewers • Negotiate with selected candidate or agency to offer proposals in line with budget • Preparing the proposed offer for internal approvals • Offer management with the candidates • Vendor management and development • Background check process management 2. Managing the onboarding process • Preparing and sending onboarding documentation • Managing onboarding documents and related preparation procedures liaising with relevant stakeholders • Guiding hiring managers with recruitment initiation process and onboarding plans • Notifying the relevant departments assistants on the new joiners details in timely manner 3. Projects • Assist or lead in ad-hoc projects, either local or regional (Projects to take up 30-40% of your workload) 4. Orientation • Run a full-day orientation for new hires (typically 3-4 times a year per TA Executive) Requirements: • 4+ years of recruitment experience (either in-house or agency) • Excellent stakeholder management • Strong communication skills in English and Japanese, both spoken and written • Self-driven, motivated, consumer-centric • Able to work in a fast pace environment • Must be an ultimate team player • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment
