We would like to hire a Controls Engineer for our factory in Sahiwal, Pakistan. We are looking for a hardworking individual to coordinate all activities related to electric, electronics, equipment process control and connectivity.
=== ABOUT THE ROLE ===
In this role, you will be responsible to ensure that the maintenance, modifications and improvements of the equipment in your scope of responsibility are implemented at the best cost and specified quality, all the while ensuring compliance with PMI standards and improvement in overall customer happiness through data analysis and tool maintenance.
=== MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES ===
Keep updated and integrate new PMI requirements related to process control, recommend corrective actions and projects to boost productivity and efficiency of materials usage and the quality and safety standards.
Continually improve processes through data-driven process optimization in order to provide improved transparency and building value.
Identify compatible devices (to replace the obsolete ones) with accurate characteristics to be able to match the process control requirements.
Analyze the most frequent causes of breakdowns, wastes, out of specs products and recommend solutions to contribute to overall efficiency and quality improvement in compliance with OPEN+ pillars & system.
Installation and Commissioning:
Update the technical documentation with the latest modifications or improvements.
Support all necessary qualification activities following changes or upgrade and maintain consistency to all relevant Computerized Systems validation procedures and rules.
Train and assist users for supervision/operating systems and provide mentorship to other technical specialists.
Ensure continuous technical support to production personnel to provide optimum operating conditions of process control & supervision system related to production equipment.
Initiate technical development and / or lead / participate in projects with the objective of improving safety conditions, quality and more effective use of equipment, spare parts and materials.
Actively participate in continuous improvement process and RTT deployment while contributing to relevant DMS within a Cell.
Maintain communication within and with relevant departments to find the most timely and cost effective solutions.
Coordinate sharing of information about process control, improvement activities, trainings and other affiliates’ best practices.
Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, environment, health and safety.
Report all situations requiring actions to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards.
Performance Evaluation & Professional Development
Ensure integral conformity with relevant legislation, internal policies to achieve the objectives established during the annual performance evaluation process.
Responsible for the completion of dedicated training plan and compliance with the requirements established in the Qualification Matrix.

- 3 or more years of relevant Operations experience
- University degree in Electronics (or equivalent)
- Fluent in English and Urdu
