Manager Building Infrastructure & Automation

We have an opportunity for a Manager Building Infrastructure & Automation to join our Workplace Experience (WX) team based at our Operations Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Workplace Experience (WX) Team is accountable for to delivering our next generation workplace services across all PMI corporate sites in Switzerland (Hospitality & Wellbeing, Transportation & Commuting, on-site Events & Conferences, Security & Safety, Office Services, workplace induction and other employee advantages). The Role The role will lead Building Infrastructure function and collaborate closely with Ops and Site Managers across PM and contribute to develop COE’s. Collaboration with key partners within PM team including: Workplace Experience CH, Design and Construction and Integrated Workplace Services. Partnership and collaboration with key functions such as Legal, Global Procurement and Finance is required to help drive consistent results Oversee general facilities maintenance as well as operation of building facilities including automation, technical (plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems) and maintenance Responsibilities Portfolio Strategy: Gather and translate business insights in support of long term real estate strategies that leverage the power of our transformation and to optimize the portfolio in support overall business objectives and priorities. Develop portfolio strategies that align to long term business objectives and make recommendations Collaboratively partner with all PM leaders to align and support their business objectives. Be a thought leader and provide advanced market intelligence Manage annual building infrastructure business planning (Op ex and Cap ex) budget process and development of multi-year road map of projects and initiatives Manage a network of key PM internal partners and strategic external partners that support transformation as an extension of the core team Help drive end to end employee workplace experiences through understanding of and support for cross functional global programs -Define relevant workplace KPI’s both for internal functions and external partners and collect insights -Innovative and creative and in the use of technology and able to approach real estate with a fresh perspective Maintenance costs: Focus on creating reliability and removing operating risk. Measure Maintenance costs true the life cycle to improve it and to predict its future. Drive the actions and behaviors needed to meet the goals set Customer service: Ensure and deliver uninterrupted services to residents and ensure quality and speed of Execution/Response Maintenance Supports Business Strategy: Build and select a range of useful maintenance KPI to identify the issues causing by maintenance effects and select the right strategy to improve both equipment reliability and maintenance performance. Use Visual Management Principles to Display KPIs for Action Sustainable workplace: Meet demands for new and renovated facilities that are accessible, secure healthy and productive, while minimizing any negative impacts upon society, the environment and the economy and include sustainable design attributes to reduce operation costs Oversee the functioning of all building systems including HVAC, mechanical, technical, electrical and Automation Maintain buildings and infrastructure in an excellent operational state, including planned maintenance, unplanned/emergency maintenance and routine work orders About you -College/University -Executive MBA preferred -Fluent French language skills -Proven experience of progressive experience in a maintenance field, including a management position directing a multifunctional building maintenance staff -Knowledge and hands on experience of the overall department functions such as HVAC, Electrical, and Mechanical and Automation -High energy and enthusiasm to effectively manage the organization and service delivery function -Strong customer relationship management skills -Strong analytical and strategic problem solving capabilities -Ability to operate independently and effectively in an ambiguous environment -Must have experience leading internal and external teams including experience mentoring a team and fostering an environment of continuous learning and development -Successful background working in and navigating in a corporate matrix environment -Must have strong project management skills and an ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously -High profile communication skills and leadership skills with the ability to influence multiple business partners across all levels with differing points of view -Must have experience with vendor negotiations and vendor management -Highly professional and ethical -Should be comfortable working within a matrix organization that requires a high level of flexibility, team collaboration, and effective leadership practices with the ability to deliver high profile programs -Experience in leading a strategic organization focused on outsourcing relationships and service integration.
