Who we’re looking for a student with the following requirements: • Currently enrolled in an MSc or PhD program. • Studying Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or related subjects. • Knowledge of cell culture, molecular biology, and organelle isolation (e.g. nuclei, lysosomes, and mitochondria). • Interest in technologies such as fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), fluorescent imaging plate reader (FLIPR), and patch-clamp electrophysiology. • Initiative, autonomy, collaborative and organizational skills. • Fluent in English. In the Product Safety Toxicology Laboratory (in Neuchâtel, Switzerland), our focus is studying the effects of chemicals present in the new generation of potentially reduced-risk products. That is our core business and you can help us make a difference. We decipher the molecular signatures induced by compounds and mixtures using state-of-the-art technology. We are looking for talented students who are interested in discovering “bio-sensors” that will facilitate our functional understanding of cellular organelles.
