Your ‘day to day’
•Manage DHL operations ensuring expected SLA and cost targets are delivered
•Manage DHL staff in fulfilment Hub
•Be responsible of the success of the projects to improve service level, efficiency and cost reduction in the fulfilment Hub
•Manage Budget Requirements and Costs with DHL and PMI finance and controlling
•Set SOP to govern DHL performance through weekly/monthly QBR review and KPI's
•Ensure semi-finished goods, devices and packaging DIM's are available on time to enable order fulfilment for the final country
•Ensure inbound and outbound custom and documentation are prepared timely and in full as well as transportations in and out from the hub are timely managed
•Establish the right requirements for man power to support expected SLA minimizing costs.
•Depending on forecast fluctuation and changes, evaluate resource needs in the STP period to maintain SLA driving DHL responsiveness to scale up man power if needed
•Develop automation in the warehouse to avoid linear cost increase vs volumes increase
•In a first phase enable the capability of skipping first arrival warehouse in the country to reduce working capital delivering directly to the latest warehouse before the end consumer.
•In a second phase develop capabilities in the hub to minimize throughput time enabling deliveries directly to end consumers and brand retail stores
•Continuously develop process automation in the hub, improving data exchange between DHL and PMI systems and increasing automation in the warehouse
•Increase warehouse productivity driving globally and regionally drive 4 zero initiative – identifying actions to reductive activities with no added value for the customer
Who we’re looking for
•Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering
•10y+ demonstrated expertise in FMCG or electronics distribution centre management, supplier management, product fulfilment and S&OP.
•Processes: Demonstrated proficiency in Warehouse management and Direct to Consumer Channels.
•Additional understanding of fundamentals of Supply Chain and Logistics Network, LSP selection & management, Resource planning and scheduling, layout optimization, DTC fulfilment,
•Systems: WMS, TMS, Warehousing KPI's dashboard and BI tools
•Ability to quickly process and understand complexity & ambiguity and define right solutions to tough problems.
•Fluent in German and English
