Manager Supply Chain Logistics & Distribution

Purpose of the Job: Manage Sales Office warehouse and transportation (Secondary Distribution) requirements of finished goods and POSM (in/out) to fulfill internal and external customer (B2B) expectations in an effective and efficient manner alligned with related PMI quality, safety, security and financial policies & procedures as well as complying with all laws and regulations. He/She leads and continuously improves the storage and handling and transportation of materials to guarantee the highest service level at the most optimal cost. He/She drives the warehousing and transportation activities leveraging on contemporary solutions to reach best in class levels by actively collaborating with PMI, other affiliates, and external parties. Accountabilities: Warehouse Management Manage the organization toward PMI standard, world class finished goods and POSM warehouses' operation for entire Philippines consisting of five regions ensuring effective receipt and issuance, accurate transactions and inventory, periodic reconciliation with zero variance, first in first out issuance, product tracking procedures are properly performed and provide direction and expertise to ensure that all problems related to the function are resolved in a timely and effective manner. Transportation Management Manage all FG and POSM transportation requirements via 3PL of Sales Offices including transloads, inter-Sales Office transfers and deliveries to provincial KA sourced from Sales Offices ensuring timely delivery to both internal and external (B2B) customers keeping product quality intact. 3PL Management Periodically (e.g. monthly) track the performance of 3PL Service Providers by setting clear KPIs, reviewing their achievements vs. the KPIs, and collaboratively propose ideas / solutions for further cost optimization and processes & systems streamlining. Ensure all the activities executed by 3PL Service Providers are in-line with the contract, and compliant with local legislations and PMI policies & procedures. Ensure the creation of a self-motivating environment to encourage the employees of 3PL Service Providers in expressing their ideas for continuous improvement. Project Management and D40 Contribution In coordination with local market's Route to Market Commercial Team, plan, initiate, implement and monitor changes to distribution network infrastructure in order to adjust to the business needs in an optimal and sustainable manner. In addition, evaluate, analyze, recommend, and implement alternative solutions in 3PL manpower / equipment utilization to optimize sales office warehouse and transportation costs. Expand roll-out of identified productivity (cost optimization) initiatives with the other sales office warehouse to promote standardization and boost the collaboration. Coordinate idea generation activities to generate 5% Y-o-Y productivity for Secondary Distribution. B2B Logistics Transition and Execution Coordinate with RTM and the rest of Commercial in the strategy development and execution of the transition of B2B logistics execution from Commercial to Supply Chain. Execute the transition ensuring business continuity and no adverse impact to product availability. Leverage on logistic's industry best practices to implement and manage the expanded scope while keeping cost base optimized. Capability Building and Organization Development Prepare and deploy the operating guidelines in order to standardize the processes & systems being used, and improve the agility and business acumen of Secondary Distribution organization, applicable for both regular PMI and 3PL resources. Maintain efficiency of the systems used throughout Secondary Distribution; such as i-SMS, i-Track, SAP P1, GCRS and SharePoint. Included is the continuous improvement of the existing processes & systems, in order to maximize their reliability and efficiency. Plan and develop team's people development program regarding job performance review, future career plan and development as well as motivate and encourage team to achieve best performance. BCP Management Establish and maintain contingency plans for Sales Office FG and POSM warehouse and transportation operations in case of unscheduled absentees, systems issues, and / or equipment failures. Maintain general BCP guidelines and process.
