Brand Manager

Accountabilities Create and propose the relevant long-term brand marketing strategies and corresponding annual brand plans within allocated budgets to achieve marketing and sales objectives. Regularly monitor brand performance and recommend updates on strategies and action plans that are aimed at positively impacting brand performance Finalize and manage action plans and critically evaluate all planned brand activities to guarantee the best implementation of the projects and ensure proper reporting to the Marketing Director. Develop, propose and manage POSM & activities aimed at reinforcing the brand's overall image to best communicate brand attributes and stimulate adult (min. 18) smokers' demand in support of marketing and sales objectives. Review and analyze brand performance vis-a-vis the competitive environment. Identify and anticipate opportunities and threats in the marketplace and develop, propose, and implement specific action plans to ensure permanent company competitiveness in the market. Ensure regular control of brand-related direct marketing expenses and analyze the efficiency and cost effectiveness of all running brand-related activities to achieve maximum return on investment while optimizing the brand's allocated budgets. Lead the coordination and interface with all relevant internal departments to foster internal communication, effective teamwork, and optimization of all allocated financial resources in the development of product/packaging initiatives, trade programs and other brand portfolio opportunities to enhance overall marketing effectiveness. Manage the brand's relationship with creative agencies and other third parties, assisting them in continuously meeting PM standards while evaluating their performance leading to high quality output / service at best prices. Ensure managed POSMs / activities are in compliance with local laws and company principles and practices as confirmed with all required internal stakeholders. Qualifications +5 years in Marketing Preferably with strong background in Sales, Brand Management and Marketing in an FMCG set-up Strong leadership and a "can do" attitude Excellent communication skills across all levels in the organization Influencing and directing others in different cultures, environments and in all levels in the organization. Capability to understand, properly diagnose, and to support improvement activities in all processes within PMI. Has the ability to deliver results through others.
