Software Engineer Cloud Migration

We are looking to recruit our next Software Engineer (AWS Cloud Migration Project) Philip Morris International is looking for Software Engineer to be part of an agile team migrating existing PMI applications to a Public Cloud. We are starting Global Cloud Migration program and setting up Cloud Migration teams in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Jakarta (Indonesia) and Krakow (Poland). The teams will be working on Migrating and Modernizing PMI Applications Portfolio of almost 1,000 applications to Public Cloud (AWS). We will provide all required support in professional development and will support advanced levels of AWS Certifications for our team members working in this program. Your ‘DAY TO DAY’ You will perform technical analysis of existing applications, develop cloud migration strategies and define detailed target cloud application design for the application migrated to the cloud You will design target cloud-optimal application and database environments, analyzing complex applications and make recommendations to optimize performance You will create detailed migration plans covering application dependencies with various components and execute applications migration to AWS cloud You will be part of the Agile Migration team working with Cloud Architects, Developers, Security Experts, Cloud Operations Experts in moving PMI applications to AWS cloud You will optimize PMI Applications with modern methods of cloud resource provisioning, use of microservices and containers, CI/CD Pipelines and other DevSecOps principles You will manage communication and stakeholders’ expectations to drive a successful migration WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR: 5+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience with a mastery in coding in multiple languages (.NET, C#, etc) 2+ years of Cloud Technology experience, preferably AWS and proficiency in AWS services like VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, Auto scaling, EBS, RDS, IAM, Route53, Cloud Watch & Cloud Trail, EMR cluster and containers (Docker and Kubernetes) Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Ansible, etc.) Good understanding of AWS cloud platform and tools that are used for applications migration and maintenance Desirable experience of Active Directory (AD) Federation configuration and Replication configuration and AD migration from on premises to Public cloud Experience with software DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools (Jenkins) and code versioning tools (Github/ Bitbucket / Gitlab) Good knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Reporting and Integration services. Knowledge of agile development methodologies Fluent in English (written and oral) A team player with strong analytical and communication skills. Able to multitask and task-oriented assignments.
