The Workplace Experience (WX) Team is accountable for to delivering our next generation workplace services across all PMI corporate sites in Switzerland (Hospitality & Wellbeing, Transportation & Commuting, on-site Events & Conferences, Security & Safety, Office Services, workplace induction and other employee advantages). All of these changes will fundamentally reshape our offices and services. For our Workplace Communication team in Lausanne, Switzerland we are therefore looking for an Audio/Visual Supervisor. In this position you will provide strong expertise in the AV domain as well as lead the team, supervise day to day activities, and to provide hands-on technical support across all services. The Supervisor will be responsible for the operation and development of the on-site AV Team in accordance with policies and procedures while delivering an excellent client service. The position involves a high degree of exposure, working with executive management and all functions of PMI in Switzerland to provide outstanding service across all audio-visual productions. The ideal candidate would preferably have technical expertise and team orientated approach, be effective in resolving issues, and be a standout colleague as at the same time as being a positive leader. You will: • Advise clients on AV industry best practices, technical and design elements and ensure they are being adhered to by the team. • Develop, adopt and deliver the best practice service levels for the AV Team. • Provide white glove service that runs technical logistics for large complex events, Town halls, special events, and VIP’s video meeting. • Have a strong creative flair to drive great filmmaking to bring office environments to life and have ideas to use jibs, dollies, lighting and other technical equipment to do that • Carry out and direct video editing of an AV production (multi-cam filming, studio filming, sound and light) alone or in a team. • Realize AV postproduction for simple productions by adding calibration, animations on Adobe After Effects and basic sound processing on Adobe Audition. • Induct, train and mentor technicians. • Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal clients. • Promote and drive cross-team collaborations ensuring a ‘one team’ attitude toward client service. • Lead audio-visual projects with external suppliers as an extension for various elements of service. • Ensure that Safety, Health and Environmental considerations within the contract are highlighted and controlled to mitigate the identified risks. • Quick response to emergency/ad-hoc requests. • Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of the technical infrastructure entrusted to them. • Track and provide regular feedback on service improvements. We’re looking for someone with: • Min 5 years of experience in the audio-visual field, ideally in an international company • Strong Experience in video shooting, multicam environment and livestream is a must. • Extensive knowledge of operating audio visual equipment which includes but is not limited to audio, data, lighting, staging, video, etc. • “Live” corporate event experience and leading AV production projects. • Experience working with senior level management. • Team leadership skills and experience in team management and development vital. • Demonstrate responsiveness, great improvisation skills, physical and stress resistance, flexibility, empathy and good interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are vital and ability to work independently and pro-actively. • Knowledge of audio-visual editing programs (eg Adobe Premiere; DaVinci Resolve; FinalCut pro). • Knowledge of video animation (eg Adobe After Effects) and basic sound post-production skills (eg Adobe Audition). • Strong English skills; French or any other language considered a positive! • PC proficiency including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Good knowledge of audiovisual providers in Switzerland is a plus.
