Rise to the challenge! As a Brand Trade Lead, YOU will have ownership of Trade Content Portfolio from Brand team perspective. YOU will maintain partnerships with key stakeholders and cross functional departments to ensure alignment on strategy between Consumer and Trade Branding. As a Brand Lead for the Trade portfolio, YOU will plan and develop content that aligns with global and local brand campaigns, supporting both internal engagement programs and targeted program expansions designed specifically for the Trade channel. YOU will be responsible for maintaining consistency across all projects and strategies that are executed to the trade audience. What your typical day looks like: • Manage and evolve content strategy to educate and engage frontline staff in both independent and key account locations. This requires ongoing management and alignment of Trade Brand planning, upholding partnership between consumer Brand team, Trade Marketing, and Commercial Operations to ensure accurate, consistent, on brand development of trade engagement content, visuals, and messaging. • Work closely with various cross functional teams (Digital, CRM, Direct Retail, Customer Care, B2B, and creative departments) to deliver compelling, integrated messaging across all touch points: print, digital, and in-store promotional material. • Accountable in partnership with Commercial Operations for business objectives that support Canada wide trade expansion program. • Responsible for ongoing content creation. This includes agency briefings, copywriting for print, web, and email communication, facilitating French translation, proofreading, and coordinating approvals and deployment. • Ongoing analysis of engagement data, results and market trends aimed at gathering insights that can optimize trade marketing programs and communication. • Compliance- all activities performed will be compliant with PMI Principles and Practices, standards, and laws relating to these activities. Your qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any relevant Degree in Marketing. • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Brand, Marketing, or Creative Agency. • Previous experience working in content development and copywriting is required. • Experience in the vaping industry is a strong asset. • Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English. • Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content. • An ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns. • Extensive experience of direct and digital marketing ideally in a highly regulated industry. • An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to customers’ wishes. • Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. • Attention to detail. • Bilingual: French/English is a strong asset.
