Purpose of the Position: The position is responsible for elevating consumer experience and visual excellence of PMJ across all CTP channels including free standing stores, shop in shops and IQOS welcome places/lounges. The scope of this position is not limited to consumer experience improvement but also to elevate brand perception, attracting traffic and maximize sales opportunities through visual merchandising. Ultimate goal is to build consistent consumer centric user experience across the board to elevate NPS and consumer satisfaction. Principal Accountabilities: • VMD Planning & Deployment management - Plan and execute annual visual merchandising events on store openings, product launch and seasonal promotions & campaigns - Manage VMD process, work flow & floor plan; ensuring high quality of deployment with consistency for all touchpoints - Project management of deployment of store opening, relocation and changeovers - Manage design, production through execution of Fixtures, Props, Trays, Key Visuals & POPs ensuring executional excellence - PO management and tracking - Design & develop Cafe Menu for IQOS Cafe - Ensure most up to date brand messages are display in store screens and ipads - Measurement of effectiveness and ROI of visual promotions and events and to assess trend for future planning • Cross functional team management & communication - Ability to work effectively with cross functional partners: global partners, channel leaders, operations, marketing, procurement, legal, planning, external vendors etc - Key contact point for global stakeholders for Deployment and VMD - Lead visual merchandising development collaborating with global Design, Deployment and Visual Merchandising team; aligning with global strategy - When if local solution is required, come up with local adaptation or solution for VMD and align with global and local team - Create holistic pool book for approved VMD materials with details - Build governance for VMD use in trade and align with stakeholders - Regular communicate and update VMD manuals and developments to cross functional teams • Vendor Management - Manage creative agency and best utilize them to delivery high quality deliverables with reasonable cost including: ? Visual creative, POPs, local adaptation and resizing - Manage agency hours and SOW; approval of POs - Project Manage local deployments from design, production, importation, logistics, and installation of all fixtures & props and VMD materials - Turning consistent global retail designs into bulk-production industrial unit designs and specifications to maximize the deployment speed and optimize cost • Team Management - Develop, lead and coach team member(s) to build solid subject experts in the area of responsibility - Create career path and succession plan for team member(s) Requirements: • 5 - 10 years’ work experience in in global retail company with visual Merchandising, vendor management, people management, budget management and project &process management experience • Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, ability to negotiate and influence • Competencies: • Independent & self-driven; highly motivated; Analytical with business acumen; Result driven; Flexible and adaptive to changes; Customer Focus; be able to lead & coach others; Innovative & creative • Regular store visits, floor changes and out of regular working hours is sometimes required #LIjobs
