We are looking for a Head of Risk & Controls who will enable - as a value adding advisor - the achievement of business strategies and objectives through an effective and efficient risk management framework for Brazil affiliate. Your ‘day to day’: 1) Perform annual & continuous risk assessment and makes risk management action plans proposals reflecting the latest business objectives and risk evolutions. 2) Perform reviews and SOX testing (as applicable) using risk-based approach and PMI controls framework, to independently assess the adequacy and effective of the controls executions in the business. Analyze and assess the impact of findings and recommendations on forward-looking operating environment. 3) Collaborate with business process owners to continuously assess the existing control effectiveness and seek opportunities to drive simplifications and foster smart risk taking. 4) Provide periodic risk governance updates to local management team on the latest risk evolution and overall control environment adequacy, including the status of the action plans implementation agreed during CAD audit, R&C review and PwC statutory/SOX audit. 5) Support and advice the local management to ensure that all required Corporate Internal Controls/Governance reporting is performed in compliance with company Principles and Practices and with local regulatory requirements (as applicable). 6) Prepare and perform QA and on-time submission of mandatory reports as required by PMI policies as well as any ad hoc requests generated by the Region or PMI R&C Central team. Who we’re looking for: 1) 7-10 years of proven risk management experience including roles in either Risk & Controls, public accounting and/or advisory experience in FMCG industry and/or e-Commerce experience. 2) Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end business process analysis (including the impact of system on the business processes), risk-based auditing and advisory methodology and procedures and principles adherence 3) Demonstrate keen awareness of customer centricity and financial savviness, connect the dots between commercial actions and risk awareness/identification 4) Highly inquisitive and agile, practice active listening to spot improvement opportunities, and decisive in solving problems even when dealing with ambiguity 5) A team player that can collaborate (assertive when needed), communicate and contribute effectively in cross-function and cross-market projects 6) Lead by motivating and empowering team members with clear performance measurements, provide space to deliver and hold them accountable of the outcomes (applicable to positions with direct reports) 7) Fluent in English, both written and oral What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
