Context - Commercial Operations team We at Philip Morris are all committed to realizing a dramatic change: completely replacing cigarettes by scientifically substantiated reduced risk smoke-free products (RRPs). It is the biggest shift in the history of PMI and the industry. It is the right one for our consumers, our company, our shareholders, and society. The mission of the Commercial Operations team is to lead the human interface channels. The team will achieve this mission through managing sales and customer services channels to best ensure consistent and effective executional deployment of the omnichannel experience. Curiosity, collaboration, perseverance and a strong drive for continuous improvement are key prerequisites. We are sourcing a RETAIL EXPERIENCE MANAGER, who will report to the Head of Retail. Purpose of the role Driven by operational excellence and the needs of our consumers, the Retail Experience Manager is responsible for delivering best-in-class consumer experiences within our IQOS Stores network in the Benelux markets. Key accountabilities 1. Gain in-depth knowledge of the needs, behaviors and active territory of our consumers. 2. Manage the third-party team which is responsible for the day-to-day running of the stores & the recruitment of store staff. 3. Ensure a high quality, engaged and skilled store staff team (directly and indirectly employed) leveraging a variety of people management levers (communication, recognition, reward, training, performance management, etc.). 4. Oversee and continuously improve the in-store consumer experience from A to Z (image, visual merchandising, messaging, in-store activation, …). 5. Develop and implement in-store activations, inspired by global brand guidelines & toolboxes. 6. Analyze the performance of our stores and propose & implement improvement actions. 7. Collaborate with the teams in and out of your commercial stream to identify opportunities for omni-channel connections & implement high quality solutions for our consumers. 8. Tap into your broad retail experience to consult and contribute on various retail projects, such as new stores, the use of in-store branded materials, store activation projects, etc. What we are looking for: Key competencies & Experience Competencies • Consumer focus mindset • High quality standards • Demonstrates a strong continuous improvement mindset and drive for results • Highly collaborative and proactively reaches out to others in the interest of common goals • Demonstrates curiosity and diverse ways of thinking to create and experiment with new ideas to benefit our consumers • A growth mindset, enabling you to be resilient and able to adapt to a changing work environment • Fluency in English and Dutch required • Computer skills Word, Excel, Power Point Experience • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or equivalent through experience • Min. 5 years of retail experience, ideally for premium experience brands • Experience in 3rd party management • People management experience • Proven track record of retail activation deployment • Knowledge of mystery shopping and staff training
