Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Shenzhen, China. We are looking for a Manager to lead multiple Reverse Operations hubs in EU and Asia, inclusive of overall governance and all financial aspects of the operations. Furthermore, leading refurbishment and repairs of electronic devices and lead a dedicated internal team to liaise with external suppliers and coordinate with internal partners. Moreover, innovate and take lead of the operations by introducing new processes and developing new solutions for the hubs, ensure expansions of the Reverse Logistics program to all active electronic device markets. Responsibilities Handle the Reverse Operations Hubs globally, which involves the inspections, tract and tracing, recyclings, data management, refurbish and repair of returned devices. • Directly supervise and lead the activities of suppliers in the program • Coordinate and balance all multi-functional stakeholders • Coordinate the establishment and monitoring of KPIs relevant to the inspections, the disassembly and the recycling • Audit all activities related to the HUB, with the support of all subject matter experts • Forecast and handle the yearly operational budget and all operational expenses Supervise all activities of a dedicated team including: • Introduction of all electronic device markets in the Circle program • Maintenance of existing markets within the program • Ensuring compliance • Ensuring the introduction of future products within the Reverse Logistics Line Team management and planning, including the involvement in hiring of new members Handle the footprint expansion projects for the program, leading the possible extension to new suppliers and supporting multi-functional alignments Participate in all central initiatives involving the Reverse Logistics and enhance the programs' capabilities As Subject Matter Specialist, design, introduce, handle and deploy improvements in the operations Handle the overall budget, including forecasting: • Gather and understand financial needs from the partners involved • Define, design and deploy yearly budget for all operations • Ensure successful payment to the suppliers • Monitor, audit and run overall spending Coordinate the contractual setup and its updates Who we’re looking for • Master's degree in Business Management, or equivalent. • Proved experience in handling global business operations in an international and multi-functional environment. Experiences in driving efficiency improvements of operations. • Demonstrable experience in the consumer electronics sector as well as manufacturing • Experience of leading team of size ~10-20 or larger; strong experience of working with global cross-culture teams and remote teams; At least 8 years experiences leading cross regional international teams • Ability to manage complex and multi subject area programs involving various partners • Ability to build effective teams and develop a strong collaborative culture internally and with suppliers • Strong ability in data and finance analysis • Strong problem solving and organizational capabilities coupled with proven leadership skills • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization • Strong reputation in engaging in proactive behavior and seizing opportunities • Fluent in English both written and spoken Philip Morris International: Delivering a Smoke-Free Future Philip Morris International (PMI) is a leading international tobacco company engaged in the manufacture and sale of cigarettes, smoke-free products and associated electronic devices and accessories, and other nicotine-containing products in over 180 markets.
