Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Shenzhen, China. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert, Sr. Engineer – Process at the Reverse Operations Hubs with a focus on refurbishment, rework and repair activities. As a Subject Matter Expert, ensure the successful execution of the refurbishment, repair and rework activities; Design, deploy and maintain processes at the operational lines and influence improvement actions. Responsibilities • Manage the introduction of holistic improvements at the Reverse Logistics repair and refurbish production lines, supporting multi-functional subject matter experts and work closely with internal and external parties for effective process implementation and development • Introduce globally Reverse Logistics best practices and support multi-functional Reverse Operations team in the maintenance and optimization of the global operations. • Ensure compliance to all the company policies, standards, technical standards, normative and laws related to the electronic devices • Support & engage with all relevant suppliers to ensure the smooth deployment of processes and projects • Lead the refurbished product certification programs. Work with Legal and other functions to ensure compliance with used product certification regulations. Who we’re looking for • Bachelor degree required in Engineering, Master degree preferred. • At least 7 years experience in managing manufacturing process development and quality improvements in consumer electronic manufacturing. Ideally from English-speaking MNCs. • Solid experience in managing teams of process development engineering or 2nd electronics refurbish & repair or quality; Experiences in 2nd electronics device certification programs • Ability to deal ambiguities and work autonomously to solve complex problems in a multicultural / multi- disciplinary environments. • Verified capability to work with a wide range of highly multi-functional internal and external partners such as contract manufacturing suppliers. • Technical expertises in Quality Management, such as Six Sigma, are preferred. • Project management expertise a plus. • Business - A deep understanding of the consumer electronics sector. Sound in quality improvement management. • Behaviors - Big picture thinking. Strong leadership skills. A good team player. Excellent communicator with strong proficiency in English. Good decision-making capabilities, strategic/conceptual thinking. Proactive, achievement/action oriented, with high agility.
