Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Shenzhen, China. We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert, Senior Engineer –Traceability to coordinate regional track & trace activities with EMS and manage special projects related to Product Tracking and Security. Responsibilities • Manage seamless integration of electronic devices and accessories into the T&T environment, and manage, determine and prioritize upcoming product tracking expansion/impact/needs in the distribution (i.e. electronics); supervise, monitor and manage the execution of T&T projects in all phases of the project, from preliminary studies and scope definition, until demonstrated success of completion and/or full compliance to the regulation and requirements. • Support projects related to Product Security features for our portfolio of Electronic Devices & Accessories. Coordinate and implement adequate solutions for each product, lead the projects with internal and/or external technology providers into the regional suppliers. Drive technology introduction in close collaboration with engineering team, packaging, operation teams…etc., implement necessary processes at suppliers & EMS. Follow the project from initiation phase until the end with controls, guidance, milestones and regular reviews - implement controls and monitoring to ensure full compliance to objectives and scope. • Coordinate the perpetual identification of improvement areas, setting priorities and defining action plans driving step change improvements and ensure implementation of the related action plans through structured follow-up meetings and report status - drive technology improvement in close collaboration with engineering team, IT solution experts, operations and Electronic Hub team, implement necessary processes at suppliers, EMS, reverse hubs, partners. • Act as the Systems Business Owner. Define, approve and prioritize the required regional system changes related to Track and Trace requirements in close collaboration with ITP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance and IT. Define and train supplier and internal business owners, keeping the efficiency and controls at required levels. • Ensure compliance to company policies/standards, technical standards/norms and laws related to device industrialization & manufacturing and all activities executed as defined by the company QMS (processes). Develop and maintain best practices for technical/device development and industrialization to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory requirements and company policies to enable an efficient and continuous product & process improvements. Who we’re looking for • Degree in Engineering or Science or Industry-related Discipline. • Outstanding stakeholder management skills (list includes, non-exhaustive: Supply Chain Operations Center, Supply Chain Management in Region and Markets (Customer Services), Supply Chain Management in Factory (Factory Logistics), ITP, External Affairs, Legal); • Ability to work cross-functionally (IT, Manufacturing and Finance); Ability to communicate; Present and influence at all level of the organization, including to Senior management. • Manage indirect line reports; Directing others; Process Management; Being acquainted with Supply Chain and T&T systems; Priority setting; Problem solving; Dealing with ambiguity; Technical Learning; Organizing • Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural English speaking environment • Previous experience in logistics/supply chain traceability is an asset • Knowledge of product security and/or previous experience in brand protection of consumer goods • Solid experience at building business processes • Sound knowledge of IT systems and collaboration with IT teams • Ability to learn fast technical matters, quality systems as well as new organizational environment. • Self learner and autonomous worker with dedication to details.
