Manager Medical Engagement RRP

Purpose of the Job: Responsible for contributing to implementation of our medical strategy (evidence generation and scientific engagement) for the successful commercialization of PMI’s reduced risk products (RRPs). Towards this overall objective, job role includes; i) Lead scientific engagement team as people manager. ii) Provide a training for communication skill and basic scientific skills, against internal stakeholders who’s responsible for scientific engagement with political, bureaucratic and industry stakeholders. iii) Coordinate and support feasible and impactful evidence generation with local external experts and PMI R&D. iv) Support RRP (IQOS) commercial success through providing business solutions to RRP marketing and sales team. v) Support effective scientific information delivery with a collaboration with collaboration with HQ, R&D, RHQ. vi) Identify, analyze and assess medical environment that affect the industry and our business. Accountabilities: • Lead scientific engagement team as people manager; Develop team member to the expert of medical communication and support their carrier development as people manager. • Provide a training for communication skill and basic scientific skills, against internal stakeholders who’s responsible for scientific engagement with political, bureaucratic and industry stakeholders; Planning and conducting education for scientific engagement with external stakeholders (especially focusing on Health care providers, Key opinion leader of medical society). • Coordinate feasible and impactful evidence generation with local external experts and PMI R&D; Find and engage local appropriate scientist to handle the study for PMI interests, Propose study theme which is originated local experts and fit our evidence needs. • Support RRP (IQOS) commercial success through providing business solutions to RRP marketing and sales team; Collaborate with marketing and sales team to create the business solutions which can maximize our product value in Japan market. • Support effective scientific information delivery with a collaboration with collaboration with HQ, R&D, RHQ; Collaborate with internal stakeholders for effective scientific information delivery by using several channels (IT, congress seminar, etc) especially targeted to Health care provider and medical society. • Identify, analyze and assess medical environment that affect the industry and our business; Attend several scientific congress to know current trends of medical environment, planning and conduct insight seeking (especially focusing on medical society). Skills & Competencies: 10+ years work experience of medical engagement Preferable; work experience of medical training, planning and implementation of medical strategy, and regulatory negotiation.
