Your ‘day to day’ In this role with Philip Morris Singapore, you will report to the Manager Commercial Planning & Reporting. You will contribute to the overall development and implementation of commercial initiatives by providing support in the areas of planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring always that recommendations enable the timely execution of required plans. Your accountabilities include: • Reporting & Analysis: Develop insightful reports relating to the performance of commercial implementation and initiatives, industry, company and its competitors. Based on in-depth market analysis, propose viable action plans to tackle identified problems and opportunities, taking into consideration the complexity of implementation, anticipated competitor reactions and alignment to overall commercial objectives. Ensure key stakeholders are updated in a timely manner. • Market Intelligence: Drive competitive environment mapping, pricing analysis, insights, and recommendations. Monitor industry landscape to ensure competitive pricing/market position by synthesizing market intelligence and data to perform competitive analysis for all commercial aspects. • Volume Planning: Manage monthly & yearly volume planning and achieve accuracy in forecasting for budgeting requirements. • Resource Management: Assist in the tracking of assigned portions of the function's budget to ensure efficient and effective use of available resources. Constantly analyse and identify key issues or opportunities and propose budget required to optimize commercial deliverables. • Performance Updates: Provide Regional HQ with any required information updates relating to market performance as and when necessary. Assist in the development and delivery of assigned plans and presentations in conjunction with relevant stakeholders in the Commercial team. • Establish Philip Morris Singapore, as a ‘Preferred’ Partner with priority key customers. Develop Account & Game Plan for priority accounts, conduct business review, tracks performance and recommend action plans. Who we’re looking for • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Business Analytics • At least 3 years of experience in Sales Information, Business Analytics, Finance Analyst/Planning or Sales & Marketing, preferably in a FMCG company • Strong proficiency in Excel with some understanding of programming languages • Competency in Business Intelligence reporting tools such as Power BI is preferred • Effective communication and presentation skills • Demonstrated ability to work across all levels within an organization What we offer Our success depends on the people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
