Your ‘day to day’ • Create public awareness on PMI and PAPASTRATOS corporate profile and its scope of activities by designing and deploying a media strategy which enables PMI and PAPASTRATOS corporate, RRPs, regulatory and fiscal strategy to reach each corresponding audience, on a continuous basis. • Handle media inquiries, prepare media interviews, speeches and materials, such as presentation to public audiences, and support members of the management team at public events. • Create content, from idea to end-result, and combine with an all-channels strategy, while orchestrating its execution, matching channels with audiences. We define channels as digital media, print, radio – podcast, TV - video, social, events, awards, addressing both general and niche audiences, externally and -where applicable- internally • Combining data & technology with experience & instinct • Monitor the media and other sources of information for regulatory developments and emerging issues at national and local level and develop strategies to address them • Work closely with all Papastratos functions to understand the business, their work and –ultimately- their needs, in order to accurately convey them to external audiences • Represent the Company as a spokesperson by being fully aware of tobacco industry and PM issues and corporate positions on these matters. Ensure that Company views and positions are conveyed to the public and the media in a factual and timely manner. • Learn - Collaborate – Enable – Lead and be led Who we’re looking for • University degree in Communication-related fields (Business, Marketing, Communication, Media, Philosophy, you be the judge of it) • Minimum 12 years in various and diverse Communication-related positions (includes but does not limit to media, public sector, PR & Corporate Communication agencies, aspiring brands, innovative companies) • Passionate for Corporate Communication, Messaging Strategy, Sustainability Programs, Public Affairs, Events, Crisis Resolution and Internal Engagement • Experience in a multi-cultural environment • Knowledge in content creation (copy, visual, creative) and multi-platform dissemination (social-digital-mobile) • Extensive contacts in the media industry (general, business, technology, health) and knowledge of its mechanics • Communication & leadership skills to be fascinated by • A natural ability to network and a firm belief in life-long learning • Fluent in English & Greek, ideally not simultaneously • A generalist who will triumph in a specialized world What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
