The Life Sciences team in PMI is committed to operate our R&D Labs in Singapore as a CRO, offering access to its capabilities and assets not only to internal projects and programs but also to external clients. The Business Development team will be accountable to bring the business case to life and transform the PMI Research Labs (PMIRL) in Singapore into a revenue generating organization. Your ‘day to day’ The Head of Business Development is ultimately accountable for detailed definition and execution of business development and sales plan for PMIRL. The individual is ultimately responsible for in-year and future CRO revenue. • Design the strategic mid to long term product/service portfolio that R&D Labs will be offering to customers, based on prospective customer base, new business opportunities and PMI assets and capabilities • Define and deploy customer engagement and marketing plans to enable market awareness of PMI venture and pipeline creation on target companies • Define and implement sales channel strategy for product/service portfolio • Define commercial framework for customer deals, and own end to end account management, including in life management and care, contract management, service management, payments, etc. Who we’re looking for • Ability to operate with high degree of independence • Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset highly preferred • Deep understanding of the prospective market, core trends and dynamics, able to connect with commercial acumen and hands on approach to monetize existing and future PMIRL assets and capabilities • Past experience as Account Manager/Business Development with a CRO in Singapore/Asia/APAC with responsibilities in sales, marketing and commercial activities • Proven track record in business plan development and execution for growing businesses and/or new ventures in CRO/Pharma • Past experience in end-to-end commercial management of a small business (i.e. CEO or COO of start-up company) is a plus What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
