Systems Biology and Toxicology Intern We're looking for you: • Currently studying for your Master degree in Life science, Toxicology, Biotechnology or related field • Hands-on experience with cell culture work and basic molecular biology techniques is a must • Experience with 3D cell culture (e.g. spheroids) beneficial • Creative, persistent, driven, self-critical, and eager to learn • Fluent in English, other local languages are an asset You will join our Research and Development facility, part of Philip Morris Products S.A. in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. You will work with cutting-edge cell and molecular biology techniques in the context of in vitro toxicological assessment using systems biology approaches together with a highly skilled team in a diverse and multidisciplinary environment. Roles & Objectives • Design, perform, and analyze 2D and 3D hepatocyte in vitro assays • Investigate the interplay of the different cell types within a hepatocyte co-culture model • Investigate the response of the co-culture model to various stimuli • Develop a study plan, perform experiments, and manage the generated data • Evaluate, present and discuss your results What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
