Manager Consumer Awareness The Manager Consumer Awareness position will be responsible for the development of Egypt’s educated awareness strategy geared towards building the reduced risk products / heat not burn category awareness and understanding of PMI portfolio benefits. In this role he /she will be leading the development and deployment of the annual plan of campaigns, initiatives and programs to reach core target audience and drive consideration, trial and purchase while owning the annual communication calendar and rollout across channels. This position will collaborate closely with brand marketing, EA communications, market research and digital teams along with other areas of the organization to define and develop the communication campaigns and initiatives calendar and orchestrate deployment across owned & 3rd party channels. Responsibilities: 1. Owns the crafting and development of the market strategic plan for awareness building focused on category awareness and portfolio benefits understanding to compel target audiences into consideration, trial and buying. 2. Translate strategy into an actionable roadmap of programs, campaigns and initiatives with a clear plan and timeline. 3. Develop recommendations for how we implement brand awareness campaigns and programs aligning them with business objectives. 4. Following approved strategic plan, design concepts of awareness building programs and campaigns or localize global ones, define objectives and KPIs and leverage omni-channel platform, capitalizing on reach, credibility and capabilities of the touchpoints. 5. Partner with EA to develop and deploy large cross-functional activities to deliver on shared strategies. 6. Collaborate closely with brand marketing team to translate scientific messages into simple and understandable, yet compelling content that entice interest of target audiences. 7. Collaborate closely with internal and PMI counterparts (Content & Communications, EA, SEO, CRM), to leverage global guidelines and toolboxes and other markets best practices to maximize impact. 8. Drive cross-functional efforts to deploy specific projects and initiatives, govern the quality of delivery, analyze performance vs. KPIs to further scale and optimize. 9. Orchestrate deployment of awareness programs and campaigns in omni-channel way (B2C communication, direct/indirect retail, retailers, events, earned/paid media, WOM, third party initiatives & platforms) so that it is seamless, integrated and consistent. 10. Explore & identify new innovative opportunities/ideas and platforms that help in building brand awareness and portfolio benefits education. 11. Working closely with market research and brand marketing teams to set and continuously track the awareness related KPIs within the consumer journey and propose ideas /actions to adjust strategies, plans or mechanics in order to achieve objectives. 12. Continuously assess and monitor consumer data and feedback and propose areas for improvement. Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications: • Master's or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, communication or related field required • At least +/-7 years of hands on experience in corporates/agencies focusing on brand communications/ marketing/ editorial / digital • Preferred industries for potential candidates include: digital media outlets, Sports/Lifestyle/Personal Health Magazines and Digital Start-ups. • Strong knowledge of current digital media trends with an understanding of emerging platforms, culture, music and entertainment • Strong network of innovative communication and media partners across different verticals; lifestyle, culture and tech. • Strong editorial skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Detail-oriented, strong project management skills plus the ability to work in cross functional teams and collaborate across streams. • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
