Your 'day to day' As a Scientist in Substrate Technology, you will Ideate, Plan, and Execute research projects aiming at the development of new Nicotine containing substrates. Defining formulations, experimentation plans and processing parameters. You will also work closely with team members to develop Substrates to deliver on time solutions to Calendar projects within the Project Based Organization Framework, following guidelines set in the Quality Management System. More specifically, you will: • Plan and manage research and development projects including Design Experimental plans using the “Design of Experiment (DoE)” principles, coordinate the project execution by providing clear instruction to laboratory technicians, manufacturing teams and external partners. • Contribute to the transition of Substate production requirements from laboratory to industrial scale. • Define Substrate related material specifications and keep them up-to-date by following the defined procedures. • Ensure the timely release of design documents and specifications that went through rigorous verification and ensure that the supporting data are generated, consolidated and reviewed in line with scientific best practices. • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, and company policies to follow an effective and continuous product development process. • Apply company IP strategy for new design product. Who we're looking for: • You will hold a University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or equivalent • You would have relevant experience within tobacco, food or pharmaceutical industry • You would have a proven track record in Team collaboration, design of experiment and statistical data processing • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with various stakeholders • Fluent in English, French is an asset What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
