You’ll help us improve, inject innovation and create new ways of working .For our Manufacturing Solutions team in Bologna, Italy, we are therefore looking for a Manager, Dry factories. In this position, you will contribute to PMI's Commitment on protecting the environment. One of the tier 2 actions is about water stewardship. The key role is to develop a global strategy to ensure a clean water management - like ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) or Dry Factory -, and to launch the according program to reach the defined targets. This position is requesting a close collaboration with process design team, PMI's sustainability teams and with a different center of expertise. You will: • Develop, establish and monitor global PMI program and projects to get to ZLD or dry factories with new technical solutions. Ensure that knowledge, process capabilities and procedures are shared within the organization to limit water usage. • Support trough strong program management, monitor closely and perform detail-follow-up on program and project implementation to achieve challenging sustainability, efficiency and financial targets • Lead a group of technical specialists executing complex scientific, engineering or other functional programs and projects, and contribute to management decisions on general business issues in PMI. Perform company-wide mentorship regarding area of specialization and partnership with major external parties. Provide assistance and representation of department to senior management. • Build the team with right competences and lead or collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on global initiatives and sustainability projects within our project-based organization • Identify new innovative technologies, Explore and analyze alternative solutions to bring a step change on PMI water management • Define rules and techniques for identification of direct and indirect financial benefits linked with water usage, recycling and disposal • Scout and identify key suppliers to achieve dry factories • Act as a role model in compliance management by carrying out all of the accountabilities in a legal and ethical manner and in line with PMI compliance. Apply now if you: • Have a College/University Degree in science or engineering (preferably Environmental, Energy or Industrial Engineering) • Have proven work experience with significant amount of time in Engineering or project management in an operations or equivalent complexity work environment. • Have leadership experience at factory level or similar. • Interpersonal skills: customer-oriented mindset, inspiring change, ability to collaborate with a wide range of partners and diverse audience levels, agility, force of proposal, fast learner, perseverance. • Language: English - Proficient • PC Skills: Microsoft office, Word, Excel, Power point, Knowledge Management Platforms, Collaboration Spaces, Change Management and internal consulting skills.
