You’ll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your ‘day to day’ Responsible for all Regional Warehousing & Distribution activities within PMI (across all commodities). Define regional cost reduction programs in the selected markets and drive Service Level initiatives to meet high-level standards and regional budget expectations. •Accountable for Regional pipeline creation maximizing on the knowledge of the central team (SME’s). •Support implementation in case of request from the market. Act as the first point of escalation for any issue raised by the markets supporting in resolving roadblocks. Represent the markets in monthly meetings with the global supply chain organization to ensure that selected productivity initiatives are executed on time and delivered upon the financial targets. •Lead and govern all major process improvement initiatives within the Regional network, focusing on material movements, warehousing, and cost control and product compliance. •Define, implement and own the Regional Warehousing & Distribution strategy, cascading the different Global Warehousing & Distribution programs to all countries appropriately. •Challenge current Warehousing & Distribution processes and practices and drive continuous improvements in the countries. Develop / Guide / Lead / Support local initiatives for the Region including tendering activities for primary and secondary distribution. •Manage the Regional Efficiency / Net Cost Improvement (NCI) pipeline and represent the Region and Markets. •Ensure that efficiency initiatives mature according to the stage gate process and timelines set and that any deviation is mitigated in a timely manner through targeted actions (act / react). •Ensure that all markets align with Supply Chain NCI reporting principles and other financial recommendations in regards to cost allocation. •Monitor adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Business Continuity Plans and Quality Assurance standards for Warehousing & Distribution activities across the PMI owned / controlled sites and markets. Who We’re Looking For: •Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields •Proficient in English •10-15 years of expertise in regional / global logistics, preferably in a leading FMCG or Consumer Electronics multinational and/or 4PL •Program management in cross-functional projects •Process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, RTT) •Mastery on cost drivers and levers for global transportation management and operations •Go to market strategies for B2B, B2B2C and B2C and supply chain segmentation •Experienced in a structured way of working, ideally with defined drumbeat process •Benchmarking and insights on the latest market trends to drive innovation •Analytics and critical metrics management •IT savviness on leading platforms and software solutions in global logistics management and procurement (e.g., Blue Yonder, Coupa) and ERP (SAP). •Agile methodology and approach and continuous improvement mindset to driving efficiency •Validated organizational change and Interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence up and downstream •Customer focus •Partner management What We Offer: Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
