Your ‘day to day’ As a Sr Device Architect – Core Technologies, you will lead devices electronics architecture aspects to meet the agreed product functional requirements You will also consolidate SME technical expertise and provide technical risk assessment. Additionally, you will support processes and tools improvements dedicated to development of RRP devices, as well as regulatory aspects. More specifically, you will: • Provide technical expertise on strategic core electronics development to support the roadmap of RRP devices. • Supervise electronics device architectures development in collaboration with the subject matter experts in firmware, electronics and mechanics and also PMI aerosol research community. • Provide technical risk assessment of the design to the project manager and the other internal/external stakeholders. • Review technical project documentation completed by the subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with PMI quality system. • Support and assess external parties which are mandated for RRP devices development and manufacturing as well as build and manage effective partnerships and relationship with external companies to extend electronics design. • Improve processes and tools which support the development of RRP devices. Who we’re looking for • University degree in Electronics Engineering (MSc or PhD) • Substantial product related electronics design experience in consumer electronics, automotive and/or medical devices development • Confirmed experience in low power, BLE, power management design • Demonstrated knowledge of design for manufacturing, testing, quality and cost • Experience in PCB design/Software algorithms/Functional verification and validation • Scientific background (e.g. chemistry, thermodynamic, physic) will be a plus • Exposure in managing/collaboration with external electronics development partners • Sound communication, presentation, influencing skills to lead stakeholders with different seniority in the organization, including senior management • Proficient in English, both written and spoken What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
