For our Packaging and Engineering Development team in Neuchatel, Switzerland, we are looking for a person to hold Graphic Design Lead position As a printing and converting expert, you work closely with key stakeholders in the Marketing and Design functions to facilitate and align intake on new artwork guidelines and ensure the Packaging COE is meeting our customer and business needs . You specifically will : • Work closely with a Global team to manage and facilitate the seamless execution of a dynamic and expanding portfolio and ensure priorities are set within the workflow. • Agility to understand packaging processes and translate them into valuable inputs/recommendations with your clients • Coordinate and drive the development of the Design Guideline (DG) document with internal and external suppliers, giving mentorship and leading on specific design/packaging needs • Support and drive the process of optimal design adaptation for global industrial application. Integrate business and consumer design requirements and direction and ensure product design variants conform to legal and technical requirements for their worldwide deployment. • Establish, update, and maintain relevant project documentation and ensure accurate filing of information in respective systems. • Build, maintain and distribute Master files for the Design Guidelines, developing the layout and the Design Variants range according the format of the packaging needed and ensure global implementation • Provide guidance / training to relevant parties and ensure that appropriate technical expertise is utilized and transferred to meet resource requirements and departmental goals. • Propose process solutions and/or optimization which are in line with our key KPI’s cost, time and agility objectives whilst ensuring we continue to create value for our brands. • Contribute to and drive new opportunities for projects covering improvement to achieve top industry best methodologies • Contribute to improve our existing digital tools and lead digitalization projects in your respective area of expertise We’re looking for someone with: • 5+ years of experience in printing/packaging and design development and strong technical competence. Autonomously apply packaging design practices, procedures and develop accurate recommendations, alternatives, and improvements to existing processes. • Excellent Communication skills: relationship-building and influencing aptitude • Proficiency in English written & spoken • Demonstrated experience in complex problem solving Feeling comfortable in a high dynamic environment, working on multiple projects in parallel • Strong collaboration and business partnering spirit • Federal Certificate or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or related discipline. • Power Point; Word; Excel; Illustrator; Photoshop; InDesign skills What we offer: Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
