Your ‘day to day’: As Lead QA Lab Footprint you will be part of our Product Organization and will be reporting to the Manager Laboratory Governance. The position will be based in Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A (Bologna – Italy). In your role, you will lead global PMI laboratory Footprint by developing and maintaining methodology, systems and advanced digital tools. You will be the main point of contact for the establishment and maintenance of a reliable global laboratory footprint strategy through appropriate study and implementation tracking. Covering this position, you will rapidly gain an understanding of the overall business priorities, continuously monitoring the evolution of business calendars to proactively identify laboratory footprint opportunities. You will be responsible to develop a PMI Laboratory Footprint related network of experts and lead global laboratory footprint study through concerned functions or groups involved and constantly seeks to understand stakeholders' goals, priorities and concerns. Finally, you will also have a close collaboration with any forecasting functions within the department to support on the capability front while considering any challenge related to capacity (forecasting). Your Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain relevant methodology and implement advanced digital system/tools necessary to optimize PMI laboratory footprint including structured sourcing methodology. Proposed methodology should allow applicability in different field, repeatability of execution, scenario simulation capability and representative costing principles. • Establish a network of stakeholders for Footprint and sourcing study and collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor business calendar and identify lab footprint opportunities. Lead processes, methodologies, systems and tools. • Develop Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) for internal PMI testing laboratories and actively collaborate with key stakeholders in the establisment of such BCPs that both capability and capacity plans are addressed. A strong interaction and collaboration with forecasting functions is expected. • Support and advice management on laboratory's global footprint decisions, proactively address opportunities and risks. Prioritize projects in terms of potential exposure and benefits. Develops comprehensive and sound recommendations which effectively synthesize overall key conclusions. Track and report progress and achievements. • Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature. Who we’re looking for: • University degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality or equivalent • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ overall experience in laboratories’ areas • Experience in development and implementation of footprint strategies • Good understanding on PMI operations with experience/expertise in costing or accounting principles • Excellent project management experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and good experience in digital tools and/or applications • Effective communicator, action driven, results oriented and able to deal with ambiguity, able to show managerial courage • Fluent in English, both written and spoken Recruiter: Gherardi Rita Employment Type: Permanent Relocation package offered What we offer: Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
