We’re looking for someone who can bring passion to the day to day work of transforming our business and the discussion around it. Your ‘day to day’ Communications in our affiliate is a diverse role, from helping define our company’s local voice, to managing the needs from the global company, aligning and adapting them to the Israeli media. Initiating, drafting and driving stories in the media, creating collaborations and media initiatives (conferences, events, press conferences), responding to media requests, and generally maintaining a good working relationship with external contacts. You will also play a role in shaping all of our affiliate’s external content by collaborating with other internal functions to form one consistent voice. The Communications Manager reports to Head of Communications Who we’re looking for: Requirements -5-10 years' experience in communications/PR, e.g., in a government ministry, PR firm, corporation -Experience as spokesperson with media -Well-developed relationships with Israeli media, and excellent working knowledge of Israeli media landscape -Crisis management experience -Strong written and spoken Hebrew and English -Experience in managing consultants and/or teams Advantages - Experience in working in an international organization or corporation - Familiarity with health and economics reporters - Experience in developing and deploying corporate campaigns - Solid grasp of social media, particularly crisis management and listening - Managing cross-functional projects
