Your ‘day to day’: As Product & Process Improvement Engineer/Senior Engineer you will be part of our Product & Process Improvement Team for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Manager Product & Process Improvement RRP. The position will be based in Bologna. A key responsibility will be to lead, Plan and execute the assigned RRP projects, utilizing and adhering to Project Management best practices to ensure successful completion of projects. You will also act as SME in the area of competence to improve product or process performance. You will be accountable to communicate with customers and stakeholders (internal and external) on an on-going basis to review project scope and provide status updates, coordinate resources (complex projects) and plan, schedule and coordinate project tasks and deliverables respecting timeline, quality, safety and cost in order to improve business performances and achieve return of investment. Your Responsibilities: • Manage/Lead assigned RRP projects and ensure successful implementation within budget and on schedule. As subject matter expert propose and implement change to improve product or process performance • Plan and contribute/lead the execution of the project phase, and ensure the delivery of expected functionalities within the agreed time, budget and quality. Ensure adherence to QMS and effective reporting • Coordinate multicultural and cross-functional project teams, as well as internal and external resources for the activities of each project. Establish professional working relationships with peers and associates within and outside the department and with contractors and consultants. • Apply rigorous scientific method and creative, pragmatic solutions during the project execution • Ensure that project information supplied to management is realistic with respect to cost and timing in order to avoid financing problems and delayed completion; provide accurate and properly scoped data to the successful completion of the project • Respect all job requirements concerning Quality and EHSS standards Management System. Assure adherence to PMI project management methodology, PM financial policies, the capital budgeting process, safety and labor relations policies. • (Senior) Motivate, coach, and provide timely feedback to the project team • (Senior) Develop and maintain plan for the next 12-36 months to estimate business demand and anticipate solution delivery, develop plans to maximize efficiency of solution delivery within the delivery center. Manage and build a flexible, agile and innovative IS organization that attracts, develops and retains the best global talent in order to deliver IS required by PMI, currently and in the future. Who we’re looking for: • University degree in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent. • Engineer: 2-5 Years of experience • Senior Engineer: 8-10 years of business/IS experience (preferably in multinational companies), of which at least 3 years of proven functional experience in assigned domain • Strong project management experience. Formal education in PMPM is a plus. • Knowledge in MS Office Package. • Strong communication, negotiation, Action orientation, analytical thinking, priority setting and strong drive for results.
