Purpose of the Position: Coordinate the assigned category, analyzing the relevant industries, and identifying main cost drivers to draw overall beneficial sourcing scenarios to be shared, approved, and implemented with the related Procurement management. Principal Accountabilities Accountability 1 Ensure business partnering and proactive internal stakeholder engagement at all levels (up to senior management). Collect and influence their demand and translate it into Sourcing Plan Accountability 2 ? Contribute to the definition, formulation and implementation of coherent local sourcing strategies, Principles & Practices for the assigned categories, based on business requirements and supply market trends in order to drive economies of scale and secure best total procurement cost (TCO). ? Build technical know-how of industry coordinating, analyzing, and interpreting information about supply markets, suppliers and products/services to select best available solutions compliant with PMI Principles & Practices. Accountability 3 ? Conduct RFx processes to screen, evaluate and select suppliers. ? Negotiate optimal terms and conditions with vendors/suppliers, leveraging know-how of the vendor/supplier market and global/regional cost base of assigned categories to achieve economies of scale ? Maintain and update price lists and agreements in order to guarantee accurate documentation for purchasing decisions Accountability 4 ? Conduct RFx processes to screen, evaluate and select suppliers. ? Accountability 6 ? Assess and measure potential risks' exposures (supply, financial, image/reputation) ? Establish contingency plans to prevent them and/or mitigate their impacts accordingly to risk management strategies defined for the whole Procurement Function ? Support Manager Procurement to determine price forecasts for OB and RF budget cycles Accountability 7 ? Take an active role in regional synergies, optimization programs and projects to streamline and standardize selection and purchasing processes that will generate economies of scale ? Establish and maintain working relationships with relevant PMI business functions ? Adapt global/regional souricng strategy and supply base where applicable.
