Direct Materials Procurement Category Leader We are looking for a Direct Materials Procurement Category Leader who will work in İzmir-Philsa and be responsible for category management and strategy deployment. This role will enhance your strategic thinking and negotiation skills both with third parties and internal stakeholders. You will contribute to the definition of global DIM category strategy and vendor footprint taking into consideration regional business requirements and supply market trends to secure materials availability at optimal total cost of ownership. Read further if you want to learn what the main responsibilities of the role are: • Contributing to the definition of category strategy and ensure its deployment across the region • Identifying and implement price and productivity initiatives • Implementing data driven sourcing activities • Negotiating optimal terms and conditions with vendors/suppliers • Leading standardization and streamlining of the vendor portfolio for assigned categories • Managing vendor's performance through Supplier Relationship Model • Ensuring full compliance with local legislation and company’s policies and practices • Supporting PMI Sustainability program leveraging on reliable collaboration with Suppliers This position can be something for you if you recognize yourself in the below profile. You: • Hold a university degree • Have at least 2 years of experience in Procurement with exposure to multinational environment • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention for detail • Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner • Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel, Power BI is an advantage At Philip Morris International, employee health and safety is our top priority.
