YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ As Strategy Manager Assets, you will be part of Operations Strategy and Results department for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to the Manager Strategic Asset Management. The position can be based in Crespellano (Italy). This team is the nerve centre for operations to help deliver the transformation of PMI towards a smoke-free future portfolio. Driving and managing projects that deliver step change in service (speed), productivity (cost) and cash. That will unlock resources for PMI and deliver the new portfolio on time to consumers to help accelerate the shift towards a smoke free future portfolio. As a Strategy Manager Assets, you'll define & drive the equipment strategy for our production centers globally – for both existing and new products. You will develop strategies how to best support the implementation of new products and improvement of production processes from equipment perspective – to meet our consumer and business needs KEY RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE INCLUDE - Define and drive Asset Management Strategy for area of responsibility (equipment type / geographical zone) - ensuring cost efficient realization of manufacturing network strategy, transformation and new product launches. - Evaluate strategic asset availability in line with footprint and asset strategy to validate the asset impact on obsolescence, product development, markets and volume driven projects as well as acting as an enabler to ensure respective assets are available for execution of approved projects. - Validate investment requests related to strategic assets, evaluate options and provide guidance for decision making for the management team. - Identify and drive cross functional projects to ensure positive and sustainable impact of asset strategy management on PMI costs and manufacturing performance. - Participate in strategic projects within the Operations strategy and delivery team WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR - University degree in Engineering or Technical areas - Validated experience in an Engineering or technical services department within a factory or regional / global function.
