Your ‘day to day’ In this role with Philip Morris China, you will report to the Manager Regional Sales and will be driving our business growth by enhancing product distribution, availability, and visibility by partnering with retailers and district China National Tobacco Corporation(“CNTC”). The place of work is in Guangzhou. Your accountabilities include: • Territory management: Achieve business objectives through retail coverage and CNTC cooperation in your responsible territory. Identify opportunities and propose plans for business improvement. • Retail coverage optimization: Optimize your route plan to retailers by analyzing business contributions. Independently develop scope and call frequency to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. • Maximize product availability: Provide professional sales service to retailers and minimize product out-of-stock situations through trade education and ensuring product supply at district CNTC level. Achieve annual and cycle distribution and availability targets. • Point-of-sales materials (POSM) investment management: Place POSM according to merchandising standard and cycle objectives. Select the most optimal outlets for POSM according to company standards & set appropriate pay for performance targets. Constantly monitor the quality of POSM to ensure quality standards are met. • Trade relations: Build and maintain relationship with retailers. Utilize all available tools to increase brand awareness while respecting legal guidelines. • Plan and implement promotion activities: Analyze the market situation and propose promotion programs if applicable. Proactively participate in promotion procedures to maximize results. Implement promotions according to plans and gather feedback for program improvement.
