YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’ As Manager Social Sustainability, you will be part of Operations Sustainability department for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to the Director Social Sustainability. The position will be based in Crespellano (Italy). As Subject Matter Expert, your key responsibility will be to support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to demonstrate leadership in human and labor rights in our electronics supply chains. Specific responsibilities include: • Provide input to the social pillar strategies (including the outside-in) • Provide deep expertise on topics related to core capabilities, e.g., human rights in electronics supply chain, human rights risk assessment, forced labor, living wage, conflict minerals, responsible sourcing • Stay abreast of global macro trends in social sustainability and human rights in electronics and be recognized as a sustainability leader within and outside PMI • Identify & develop pipeline of ideas and projects • Accountable to complete the “develop” phase of all Sustainability Programs (typically in Gate 0 - Gate 3) • Develop toolboxes for implementation of programs, projects • Participate in key external stakeholder engagements (incl. working groups, coalitions) • Develop operations sustainability Policy & Guidelines • Provide input for data management strategy and expertise in data analytics • Provide input for all external reporting submissions Who we’re looking for: • Master degree in social science, business management, or other related degree with a specialization in Social Sustainability and/or Human Rights • 5 -7 years of practical experience in social related Sustainability Programs and/or human and labor rights in Electronics Supply Chains, preferably within consumer electronics • Solid practical experience in the area of human rights in electronics supply chain, conflict minerals, living wage, responsible sourcing • Good knowledge in data analytics • Proven experience in sustainability innovative technology • Good knowledge in social sustainability solutions, tools or platforms • English proficient; Italian proficient is a plus What we offer Our success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
